Happy New Year and all that Jazz. Judging on the regularity of my News updates on this site, I'd best put Happy Easter too - or whatever holiday is relevant to you around Spring.
Digital Spoke has been very busy in the run up to the end of 2007, resulting in the long-awaited launch of the new Emmaus website, a revamp of Quidster with a very cool suite of new games and a lovely little website for local career specialists, People Dynamic.

Digital Spoke have just launched the new website for the Department of Urology at Addenbrooke's Hostpital. The result is a highly usable and accessible site that should be as helpful to GPs as it is to patients.
Also in site design news, we've just launched a (deliberately) small and simple website for a new furniture company: Chequers Furniture. Those are some comfy sofas, we can tell you!

The news drought comes to an end! We've been very busy - too busy to update our own site, even. No excuse for that. Recently we launched a redesign of the Cambridge Buddhist Centre website and also the lovely Colne Valley Museum.

Our Internet module at ARU has also come to an end. Although the marking is yet to come, the standard has been impressively high. From nothing to standards- compliant web design in 12 weeks. It can be done.

We've just completed a nice job for herga electric ltd, a leading manufacturer of various switches.
The original site was loud, brash and a bit of an inaccessible mess, utilising frames and out-of-date code. We changed all that with a highly accessible, modern-looking, intuitive design.

Hopefully the first of many such courses!

This website is new for starters. Check it out: We wanted a fully accessible, ultra-usable and highly flexible website that showed designing with standards doesn't have to involve compromise.
Try printing this page. Neat, huh? Now try the text-only version. And monochrome design? It's all the same page, but with different styles. Read more about the re-design ...
