Our Approach
We design and develop bespoke websites that can be used by as many people as possible.
We passionately believe that the web is for everyone. Whether you're selling houses or publishing legislation, everyone has a right to the information you provide.
But we're not just do-gooding hippies, we know this is all about the money - how much you have to spend and how much your site can make in relation to what you've spent. The good news here is that our approach and the tools we use costs less, works better and attracts more visitors. You get more for less, in other words. So why isn't everyone doing it?
What We Do That Others Aren't Doing
Basically, we went back to the rule book. After years of knocking up websites, we questioned what we were doing and how we were doing it. We discovered to our initial confusion that we were doing everything wrong - along with the entire design community.
Thanks to the powerful browser wars of the 90s, designers learnt - whether knowingly or not - how to code for particular browsers, rather than the Internet as a whole. The result today is that most websites are made using invalid code and browser-specific instructions. The only conclusion to pursuing this path any further is inevitable rot. In short, many of today's websites are going to be obsolete if they don't update to valid, standards-compliant code.
So our approach doesn't just make ethical and business sense - it's the only logical way forward.
Our Values
Basically, we want to make the Internet a better place. It's not as ludicrous as it sounds. This is what we strive for:
- Fun
- Honesty
- Equality
- Openness
- Innovation
- Inspiration
- Education
We are professional, yet not afraid to do things differently and challenge the status quo. We believe things only move forwards in this way.
